Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals with mental health conditions. This position will be based in a hospital setting. Duties: - Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' mental health conditions - Collect and analyze data related to patients' behaviors and symptoms - Assist in developing and implementing therapy plans for patients - Provide counseling and support to individuals with chronic pain - Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to help patients modify their behaviors - Administer cognitive behavioral therapy to address patients' mental health issues - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans - Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed - Assist in crisis management situations, ensuring the safety of patients and staff Skills: - Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessment tools - Strong data collection and analysis skills - Experience in providing therapy, counseling, or support services - Knowledge of chronic pain counseling techniques - Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and techniques - Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy interventions - Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred - Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system for mental health diagnoses - Ability to effectively manage crisis situations We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including medical insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
